Influenza Flu-Control
Influenza flu is an infectious disease that affects birds and mammals caused by RNA virus.Influenza can cause pneumonia.
There are influenza A,influenza B and influenza C.Influenza B is common in affecting humans and mammals.
Symptoms of influenza
Influenza symptoms include,
*Muscle pains
*Fever
*Headache
*Sore throat
*Coughing
*Fatique
*Nausea and vomiting in some cases
*Abdominal pain
Transmission of Influenza virus
By air through sneezes or coughing
Hand to mouth transmission by way of hand shake
Birds droppings-Nasal secretion,feces,saliva or blood
Personal contact with fluids of infected birds and farm poultry.
Mode of prevention
*Frequent hand washing
*The use of disinfectants recommended
