FIBROMYALGIA-SYMPTOMS & ALTERNATIVE THERAPY

Fibromyalgia refers to a chronic widespread of pain in the muscle and connective tissues of the body.
It is a heightened and painful response of parts of the body to a gentle touch.

Fibromylgia is believe to occur as a result of abnormalities within the central nervous system.The pain is severe at the following part of the body;the elbows,the knees,the hip joints and the neck region.

EFFECTS OF FIBROMYALGIA

As an effects,the following sysmptoms could be prevailent.They are,

*Difficulty with swallowing
*Joint stiffness
*Breathing imbalance
*Sleep disturbance
*Bowel and bladder abnormalities
*Debilitating fatique
*Weakness in the limbs and nerves
*Inability to multi-task
*Facial,joint,neck and back pains
*Blurred vision and fluctuating visual clarity
*Muscle tightening or spasms
*Pelvic pain.

TREATMENT OF FIBROMYALGIA

Treatment is majorly that of symptom management as there's no known cure for fibromyalgia for now.
The pain and other related sysmptoms could be alleviated by patient education and the use of aerobic exercise.

The use of medication and alternative medicines have been shown to be effective as well.
Proper understanding of how to manage ones emotion and mental stress is a good therapy.
Analgesics such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and cox-2 inhibitors could also be used.

Physical therapy-Massage or accupuncture improves sleep and fitness,thereby reduce fatique in some patient with fibromyalgia.
